This summer, Secular Sabbath and Anzan Atitlán invite you to immerse yourself in a weekend of music, wellness, and cultural connection on the sacred shores of Lake Atitlán.

Anzan Atitlán, a sanctuary for artists and seekers, offers the perfect setting for deep rest, creative exploration, and meaningful encounters. Through movement, music, and ancient wisdom, we will gather in a space where nature, ritual, and expression intertwine.

• Songwriting session with Rhye – an intimate space to explore music and storytelling

• Traditional Mayan Women’s Massage – a sacred practice of healing, passed down from generation to generation, focusing on balance and energy alignment ( optional )

• Sauna & cold plunge – reset and rejuvenate with heat therapy and the fresh waters of the lake

• Cacao ceremony with a Mayan shaman – a heart-opening ritual dating back thousands of years, used by the Maya to connect with the spirit, heart, and community through sacred cacao.

• Mayan astrology & Nahual readings – uncover your personal connection to ancient Mayan wisdom ( optional )

• Natural dye & backstrap weaving – an immersive workshop with local artisans preserving centuries-old textile traditions

• Guatemalan cooking class – learn to make fresh tortillas over an open fire using ingredients from the land

Travel & Arrival

 Fly into Guatemala City (GUA)

• OPTION 1: Arrive night of July 23 and stay at a hotel near the airport

• OPTION 2: Arrive early morning on July 24 and join the group shuttle, departing the airport at 1 PM

Private helicopter arrivals available for an extra cost

We recommend arriving Thursday evening and departing Sunday morning to fully embrace the experience.
